Since its establishment, Angkor Green has attracted competent and dedicated partners to further its mission of One Stop Solution<\/strong> in developing modern agriculture in Cambodia through its businesses operating units. We open for cooperation with NGOs\/Development Partner in the sector to provide better solutions to farmers in Cambodia.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  • The Crop Maximization Training<\/strong> (CCMT) project which was co-funded by the AMRET PLC<\/strong> and Angkor Green<\/strong> focused on transferring knowledge to 1,180 farmers, especially cassava growers and mango off \u2013season producers. The overall aims of the CCMT project is to transfer knowledge to famers on production techniques, farm management and technology, pesticides and fertilizer application with effectiveness and safety, and to strengthen Amre<\/strong>t\u2019s relationship and trust among farmers. The project took off on 11th<\/sup> February 2021 and will end on 31st<\/sup> December 2021. Angkor Green<\/strong>\u2019s role is to develop training material for cassava and off-season mango, train farmers, conduct farm demonstration to enabling farmers with new technology and machinery for agriculture adaptation, and partly expenses.<\/li>\n
  • The Angkor SALAD<\/strong>-Geodata for Agriculture and Water<\/strong> (Angkor SLAD-G4AW) project is funded by the Netherlands Space Office<\/strong> (NSO) and it focused on incorporating satellite-derived data to inform and improve agricultural production in Cambodia. The overall aim of Angkor Salad<\/strong> is to reduce inputs, specifically water, while increasing productivity of vegetable production by approximately 20%. This is to be achieved through a commercial partnership with a leading input supply company in Cambodia, Angkor Green<\/strong>. A client management and decision support tool is to be developed by combining best practice of vegetable production advice with near real-time information on soil moisture. It is envisioned that this tool will be commercially viable through the incorporation of package expenses into products bought by farmers or through a direct subscription model. The model subscription services are included Irrigation Advice, Fertilizer Advice, Crop Planning Advice, Market Information, and Khmer GAP Compliance. The project took off in May 2018 and ended in April 2021. The project was jointly implemented by consortium members including ICCO South East Asia<\/strong>, Angkor Green<\/strong>, Nelen & Schuurmans<\/strong>, VanderSat, Akvo<\/strong>, General Directorate of Agriculture<\/strong> (GDA), and World Vegetable Center<\/strong>. The Angkor Green<\/strong>\u2019s role is the service owner and develop marketing & communicating, trainings, and capacity building to end-users of information services (farmers), local public, and private stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • The Promoting Mango Farm Management Services and Contract Farming <\/strong>project is funded by the Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II<\/strong>. The project took off on 1st<\/sup> May 2019 and the completion date of the project is 30th<\/sup> April 2021. The overall aims of the project are:\n

    • Improving testing and enforcement of quality standards for agriculture inputs<\/li>\n
    • Improving access to information regarding the appropriate types and levels of inputs<\/li>\n
    • Disseminating technologies that enable value addition at farm and firm levels<\/li>\n
    • Improving traceability and branding to achieve price premiums<\/li>\n
    • Improving availability of quality climate information at the producer level<\/li>\n
    • Providing reliable market information to benefit buyers and producers<\/li>\n
    • Increasing the involvement of young entrepreneurs in the horticulture sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Angkor Green<\/strong>\u2019s role under this agreement includes:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n
          \n
        • Conduct recruitment workshop and train farmers to product quality mango to meet end-buyers requirement.<\/li>\n
        • Consult with mango producers on business management and marketing required under the contract farming scheme.<\/li>\n
        • Sign contract farming with most potential mango producers<\/li>\n
        • Provide rotated technical assistance to mango producers with priority to those under the contract farming scheme and mango producers who have received mango production training.<\/li>\n
        • Manage mango tree demonstration pilot in Battambang<\/strong> province and use it as a learning center for farm management course.<\/li>\n
        • Provide farm management training to trainees, after which some of those trainees will be recruited to work for AGID to provide farm management to other farms on skills such as sustainable agriculture and soil fertility management, cultivation practices (GAP), pest and disease management, fertilizer and irrigation management, farm and staff management, marketing and partly expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Back to the past, since 2014 Angkor Green is collaborating with government partners and NGOs, Angkor Green has been involved in supporting the knowledge of farmers in each of the following projects:<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. With CAVAC<\/strong>, we have been involved in the cultivation and crop management of cassava and rice with modern technology projects, and provide opportunity to work with IT students to develop agricultural application (App). We have helped with cultivation techniques, maintenance and application of fertilizers and pesticides with hundreds of farmers and many field demonstrations.<\/li>\n
          2. With SNV \/ Chains<\/strong>, we have been involved in the cultivation and crop management of vegetables in some riverside provinces such as Kratie, Stung Treng, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey. In this project, the team helped farmers on capacity building on how to cultivate, use of correct pesticides to control the pests with hundreds of farmers and conducts farm demonstrations about 100 places, including inputs, pesticides and the use of modern water systems.<\/li>\n
          3. With Swiss Contact<\/strong>, we have been involved in the implementation of off-season mango management in some provinces, such as Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Battambang and Pailin. In this project, our team helped to teach planting techniques, pest management, nutrient management and the correct use of pesticides and fertilizers on off-season mango. Also, the study about mango market standards with about 300 farmers.<\/li>\n
          4. With USAID \/ Havest II<\/strong>, we have been involved to implement of off-season mangoes and cashew techniques in provinces such as Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Battambang, Pursat. In this project, Angkor Green provided the farmers on capacity building on mango and cashew nut cultivation techniques, with pest and nutrients management and the correct uses of pesticides and fertilizers about 930 farmers in 23 different places. Also, Cam GAP courses, agriculture technologies, innovation and market linkage are introduced and supported.<\/li>\n
          5. With ICCO\/Angkor Salad<\/strong>, we have been involved to implement the \"Angkor Salad\u201d app project for the vegetable cultivation with modern technology, using satellite data and field data to serve farmers solution. In this project, we provide important services in fertilizer, irrigation, crop planning, GAP, and market information. The teams support vegetables technical training on crop management and protection. Angkor Salad App training to various farmers are also conducted in the 16 provinces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
